Watch For Falling Rocks

When two brothers go camping in the woods, an ancient spirit comes to drive them apart.

Role: Art Department

"Watch Out for Falling Rocks" tells the story of jealousy, fear and reconciliation, all done in a 3 day shoot.

Sleepingbag glued to tarp

There wasn't many props to keep track of, however we did have the task for a certain scene to create a floating sleeping bag, but make it look like it was on the ground. This was a big trial and error trying to get leaves and paint to stick to an old tarp that we had glued the sleeping bag to.

Our concept was to hang the tarp with c-stands on each side and have our actor stand up against it, wrapped in the sleeping bag, to make it look like he is sleeping on the floor and then hovers out of the sleeping bag in a trance.

There was also a scene cut from the film that involved me mimicking an evil spirit and climbing into the tent. I had to dress in a black morph suit and put black gaff tape all over my shoes. It was such a strange, yet fun task to do and I always wonder what it would have looked like in the final picture.

This film was the second thriller I had ever worked on, but the first that wasn't my own. During all planning and production we only had a team of 2 other individuals to attend to all art department needs.

Me in Demon costume

I was not the production designer, but was apart of the art department and worked with the director on how certain elements were going to look on screen. The tone was a lot of blue and greens, and I'm happy with the end result.
